Building companies. Holding for the long term. Investing in what comes next.
Blackwolf Group is the private holding and investment company of Wolfgang Straßburger, founder of Onemedia Consulting and Molequle. It combines long-term ownership in founder-built companies with disciplined investment across public markets and selected private opportunities.
Blackwolf builds businesses, holds them without an exit clock, and invests what they earn. Three activities, one balance sheet, one owner.
Build
Create and develop technology and professional-services businesses, informed by operating experience in marketing technology, customer data, and AI. Both companies in the group started this way — built to solve problems their founder knew first-hand, not acquired.
Hold
Maintain long-term ownership in founder-led companies and support sustainable growth. Blackwolf holds with its own capital: there is no fund lifecycle and no external clock forcing a sale. An exit is not the objective.
Invest
Allocate proprietary capital across public markets and, over time, selected startups and private ventures — where operating experience, network, and capital reinforce one another rather than merely coexist.
One founder journey
The portfolio is not a collection. It is a sequence.
Each company came out of the one before it. The sequence is the strategy — not a thesis written afterwards.
Onemedia Consulting
Founded in 2015. A decade of hands-on work in enterprise marketing technology — strategy, implementation, and daily operations for large B2B organizations — built deep expertise in customer data, systems, and the operating problems behind them.
Molequle
One problem kept returning across those engagements: customer data that people, systems, and — increasingly — AI agents need, but that no one can hand over ungoverned. In 2017, Onemedia began building software against it; by 2018 it was live at Carl Zeiss. In 2022, that work became a company of its own: Molequle, the Governed Context Layer.
Blackwolf Group
The holding built to own what came before it: long-term ownership and capital allocation for the operating companies, and the platform for whatever the same experience builds or backs next.
Core holdings
Two companies, built from the same operating experience.
Onemedia Consulting
Europe's leading enterprise implementer of Adobe's B2B solution stack — data and journeys. The work runs the full arc: MarTech strategy, marketing-automation implementation, ongoing operations, and customer-data consulting, turning customer data and operational processes into measurable growth for global B2B organizations. Munich · Lucerne · Vilnius.
Customers include Carl Zeiss, Unilever Food Solutions, SIX Group, SEW‑Eurodrive, KSB, and Konica Minolta.
A Munich-based enterprise-software company building the Governed Context Layer: governed context for every system, agent, and human. Customer data is unified once, then served to business users, operational systems, and AI agents under one policy — permissions, consent, classification, and an audit trail on every read and write. It connects systems such as Marketo, Salesforce, and SAP C4C and delivers context wherever work happens, from API and CRM to AI agents via MCP. EU‑hosted.
Customers include Carl Zeiss, Avantor, KSB, SEW‑Eurodrive, Rosenberger, and i‑PRO.
Both were built, not bought. Blackwolf's role is patient ownership — capital, governance, continuity — while each company's own team runs the business.
Investment approach
We invest from operating experience.
Blackwolf manages proprietary capital — today primarily through public markets, over time through selected private investments. Its differentiator is not the size of its capital base; it is that the capital and the judgment behind it come from actually building companies. There is no fund, no external mandate, and no open pitch process.
Own capital, own pace
Blackwolf invests only its own capital. Nothing forces it to deploy in a hot market or to sell in a bad one — patience is structural, not a slogan.
Public markets as the base
The foundation is disciplined, long-term allocation across public markets. It compounds quietly and keeps the holding independent.
Private, where experience gives an edge
Selected startups and private opportunities will follow where the group's operating experience — enterprise software, customer data, marketing technology, AI — helps tell substance from story.
The founder
Wolfgang Straßburger
Wolfgang Straßburger has spent fifteen years in marketing technology. He began at a communications agency, standing up its social-media department and later heading its strategy and client relations — then left the advisory seat to build. In 2015 he founded Onemedia Consulting and built it into Europe's Marketo powerhouse: the leading enterprise implementer of Adobe's B2B solution stack — data and journeys — proven across more than a dozen of the continent's largest implementations.
The problem that kept returning in that work — fragmented customer data that people, systems, and AI need governed access to — pushed Onemedia to start building software in 2017; within a year it was live at its first enterprise customer. In 2022, that work outgrew its origin and became Molequle, a company and a story of its own.
Founder of both companies, he has stayed a practitioner: a two-time Marketo Champion and a regular speaker, from Adobe Summit to a TEDx talk on digital body language — the behavioral signals that underpin how he thinks about marketing and AI. Blackwolf Group is the holding through which he owns both companies for the long term. He works from Munich.
